Although the events that took place in Newtown, Conn. last week were horrific, the murder of Black children has been taking place in our inner-cities for years. This past summer,African American children were killed by gun-shots in cities like Chicago, and Philadelphia on a daily basis. Innocent children, whose only crime was that they were Black or brown and lived in low income communities where guns are prolific and used to solve the silgthest of offenses. Yet, where were the cries for gun control then? Where were the cries for the four year young Black child who was shot dead while sitting in church next to his mother in church on New Years Eve by a stray bullet. Join us this Saturday morning at 10 for a discussion of this and other topics of interest.
