In 1985 Stevie Wonder was arrested outside of the South African Embassy for protesting against apartheid. He said his arrest was an "expression of love to all the people of South Africa who are against the barbaric policies of apartheid"., Next week, Stevie Wonder is scheduled to play at a benefit for the Israeli Defense Forces, who only after overwhelming international pressure, ended a brutal massacre of the people of Gaza, killing 162, and wounded over 1,200. Many of them children., I dont know what happened to Stevie. Maybe Obama has him brainwashed, like he has many of you. The same people that Stevie was speaking and singing and fighting for in the 1980s have this to say about Palestine..., Nelson Mandela: "We know too well that our freedom is incomplete without the freedom of the Palestinians.", Demond Tutu: "I have been to the Ocupied Palestinian Territory, and I have witnessed the racially segregated roads and housing that reminded me so much of the conditions we experienced in South Africa under the racist system of Apartheid. I have witnessed the humiliation of Palestinian men, women, and children made to wait hours at Israeli military checkpoints routinely when trying to make the most basic of trips to visit relatives or attend school or college, and this humiliation is familiar to me and the many black South Africans who were corralled and regularly insulted by the security forces of the Apartheid government."
