In part one, a sentinel is tasked with escorting a newly-minted soul to its host but quickly realizes there are dark and malevolent forces who have other plans. In part two, "The Raziel Remnants", a powerful angel is unleashed from captivity and enlists the pair of sentinels on a desperate mission.
