It was a normal day for teacher and mother Misty Novak; she got up to have her morning 5am walk with a friend and neighbor, and then began preparing for work. In the background she had the news playing, suddenly she heard there had been a plane crash, this crash was near her son Zach's University , but “he wasn't going to be on a plane” she thinks to herself. She ignored the cold chills she had the feeling of doom and went about her day. As the end of the day approached her classroom door opens, she is asked to come immediately to the principles office. Thinking to herself, “what have I done, it must be bad for them to not wait for the end of day”. As she walks into the office, she suddenly realizes something is terribly wrong…..in this moment, in this second Misty's life would change forever. Denial would serve only as a deterrent as she would soon have to face the fact that her precious son Zach was indeed on that plane, and he was not coming back home.
