one of the greatest icons from dc comics that stand for truth justice and america way. when he came out in the 30s by dc he was the first alien that never kill or try to hurt us. he was protecting us from crime. grew up in small town in smallville kanasa. not knowing who he is and why he has all these powers. and what to do with them how to help people without freaking them out. but later on when he was 18 years old he got his answers when he went up north in the fortress. his father send him to earth cause his planet was going die so he send his only son to protect earth. and when he came out of the fortress he became the world greatest hero superman. but when he move to the city and work for perry white at the daily planet. he calls himself clark kent. so he a reporter with lois lane covering the stories around the world. until one day lois meant superman and the man of her dreams. but later on a new villain show up name lex luthor. and try to take down superman. but years later superman show up on tv,cartoons, and even the big screen. and actor who play him was chrisopther reeve. and in 2001 the wb told the story on how clark kent grew up in smallville and how his powers where kicking in. and they call the show smallville. the show lasted 10 seasons that long running show for the wb in my eyes. now dc comics has retold story of superman and redid the outfits in the crappy 52. and next year in 2013 there new superman movie coming up call man of steel. and the villain he got face is general zod. it like really. there more villains out there for superman beside zod like lex luthor,brainiac,bizzaro,doomsday the monster that kill superman. which sold more comics. in my eyes the person that should be playing superman for the new movie is tom welling. he play it for ten years on smallville. i think he earn it for the big screen. dean cain was ok superman but it was more of love story instead superman comic books on small screen. i grew up with superman.
